Beleza Beauty & Well Being, the newest and most expansive beauty and well-being business in West Hartford Center, had its Grand Opening on July 18, 2018 including an official ribbon cutting ceremony attended by local business leaders, public officials, and enthusiastic customers.
Cutting the ribbon with business owner Nilce Conti were representatives of the Town of West Hartford and the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce, welcoming the new Beleza Beauty & Well Being to the thriving West Hartford Center. West Hartford Town Manager Matthew Hart complimented Conti’s investment in the community, saying that small businesses working together are the key to the community’s strength.
Beleza, described as a “a wellness sanctuary for Skin Rejuvenation, Body Renewal and Salon Services,” will be introducing integrated and distinctive services that respond to local residents desire for a more comprehensive approach to well-being, to accompany traditional salon services. Conti, an advanced skin specialist who has been in the industry for nearly 40 years, points out that programs and services will be individualized and customized by an expert staff.
Members of the West Hartford community were on hand, and building owner Robert Udolf congratulated Conti and the Beleza team for the magnificent results of their work in designing a beautiful and comfortable space.
Design and construction of Beleza Beauty & Well Being began last fall, culminating in an effectively complete transformation of the 3,000 sq. ft. location at 8 Ellsworth Street. Industry consultant Laura Walker of Spa Solutions utilized her skills and background in spa, salon, and medical spa development to keep Beleza’s transformation on target, working closely with the Beleza team.
With Walker’s professional guidance, Conti created a brand committed to beauty and well-being and designed a harmonious space of style and function with décor and services that reflect and serve the needs of the Greater Hartford area and beyond.
“For those that have been at this address before, there’s so much more than a new name on the door,” added Beleza Manager Dominika Rose. “It is a full service approach to beauty and well-being – very comfortable, providing upscale luxury and excellence that is priced within reach.” Appointments can be made online, and walk-ins are welcome.
Beleza features completely new private rooms, beautifully redesigned spaces, and industry-leading technology and equipment. Body Renewal services include a signature salt massage. There is also an infrared sauna on premises, with single sessions and multiple packages available. Well body services will feature customized weight loss and nutrition programs to include sessions focusing on lasting lifestyle, fast-track for short-term results, and an “all in” specialized program that combines various program offerings. In addition, a range of feminine wellness services are to be offered by specially-trained professionals.
Salon services will be comprehensive, to include color, cut, styling, manicure, pedicure, make-up, lash extensions, waxing and more. Products available include the highly regarded Kevin Murphy haircare product line. Permanent makeup, facials, skin renewal, advanced laser hair removal and injectables are also to be included in the array of available services. Beleza professionals will also be offering skin rejuvenation services to clients, including VascuTouch, micro-needling, PRP and Venus Laser Photo rejuvenation.
Conti noted that “Beleza” translates to “beauty” in Portuguese, and also is used as a term of endearment and is reflective of happiness or good fortune. She saluted the “loyal, talented and powerful” women who make up the Beleza team.

You will receive clinically-proven services and treatments performed by specially trained staff,” said Conti. “Every medical-based treatment or series is preceded by a complimentary consultation. Beleza offers free parking “at the front door,” easy accessibility, and valet parking in special circumstances. The spectacular Beleza space is also available for “Girls Night Out” gatherings and organizational promotions. Custom appointments, outside of regular business hours, can be arranged for those with challenging schedules. Youth are welcome, and services for men are also available.
